Know Your Rights

Only 5 cities in Arizona have a law that protects gay or transgender people from harassment and discrimination. There is not yet a statewide nondiscrimination statute in Arizona that protects people who are gay or transgender.

HOWEVER……students, teachers, and staff who identify as LGBTQ  do have rights.

Know your rights. And know when to push back against inappropriate policies, guidance, or any “formal process.”
